Inexorable extended his winning streak to three in a row at Pakenham on Monday. He jumped well in the run and settled beautifully in the one position for jockey Jordan Childs who then peeled him out into the three-line position and let him down in the straight where he extended and won convincingly by 1.75 lengths over the 1600m carrying 60.5 kg.
Inexorable, a son of the Imported stallion Dandino who competed worldwide and finished second and fifth in the Caulfield and Melbourne Cup respectively, from a well-bred Savabeel mare, Savababe who is closely related to stakes horse Thursdays Child.
Inexorable race record now reads 18 starts with 4 wins and 11 placings and $193,000 in prize-money- only missing top 3 on three occasions.
Trainer Grahame Begg has to commended on his conditioning and placement of this horse to maximise this horse’s opportunity to win races. Grahame had little hesitation in sending him to the paddock after Mondays win saying he had gone to another level this preparation on the synthetic surface but his rating and weight, restricts his options now so we will spell and come back over summer and try to win a city 74 or 78 rating race.
He really has been a great fun horse- a little 🏧 machine he said
Congratulations to all his owners – many owned shares in both the stallion and mare.
