Crackerjack Prince lived up to his strong recent metropolitan form by taking out the $30,000 Blue Pyrenees Estate Avoca Cup on October 21st.

The Archie Alexander trained gelding was well ridden by Will Gordon, settling last early before looping the field and winning narrowly but decisively as the well-supported $2.10 favourite.

Bred by Darren & Liz in conjunction with clients, the 6YO son of Crackerjack King took his earnings beyond $234,000 when scoring in the well-attended Cup which also had Vobis Gold incentives attached to the prizemoney.

A terrific money-spinner for connections with six wins and seven placings from 22 career starts, his next target is likely to be the Ballan Cup at Geelong on November 11th.

Congratulations to the breeding and ownership group consisting of Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock Pty Ltd, Bungan Street Thoroughbreds Pty Ltd, BIL Racing, D W Binns, MBS Racing, TG Allan, CP Butcher, G Richards, AJ Brown, DJ Cuttriss, JD Rose, PM Stivic, MM Stivic, DDH Racing, Brittain Racing and the Crow Family.
