What Is Super VOBIS?
Super VOBIS is a Victorian Owners and Breeders Incentive Scheme and is an internationally recognised incentive scheme designed to maximise market interest in Victorian bred horses and increase their racetrack earnings.
How Super VOBIS works
Foals are eligible for Super VOBIS with a once only payment by the 1st of February. They are then eligible for substantial bonuses when they win or are placed in specified TAB races in Victoria primarily as two and three year old’s. Additional races are programmed throughout the year for Super VOBIS qualified horses regardless of age.
Super VOBIS is open to:
a. The progeny of all Victorian based stallions.
b. Interstate bred foals whose dam visits a Victorian stallion in the year they are born.
c. Foals by interstate stallions whose dams (at the time of foaling) were owned by a Victorian breeder, provided the foal and dam residency requirements of Condition 4.1 are met.
Nominations close 1 February and late nominations close 30 June.
In boost for Victorian racehorse owners, $18 million in bonuses is on offer annually with the launch of VOBIS Gold, which will be offered in addition to Victoria’s successful Super VOBIS scheme, providing owners of racehorses bred in Victoria with the opportunity to significantly increase their earning potential.
Super VOBIS Bonus Structure
Metropolitan Bonuses (other than Group or Listed)

| $10,000 | On all 2YO and 3YO races in Victoria with prize money of not less than $22,000 and not more than $39,999. |
Group & Listed Bonus

Country Bonus
| $9,000 | On all 2YO and 3YO races for all Victorian Country TAB meetings other than Group and Listed Races. |
Stayers’ Bonus
| $10,000 | Races that construct Super Stayers Challenges for Super VOBIS qualified horses (final carries $30,000 bonus). |
