Lonhspresso a ‘Get On’ at Flemington today according to ATB’s Darren Dance

Nov 02, 2013

Classy Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock mare Lonhspresso will line up in the Group 2 Yellowglen Stakes on Derby day at Flemington today and Darren Dance believes she is a fantastic each-way bet for punters.

The mare has taken a while to come to hand this campaign and Darren Dance expects her to run well.

She’s up in class but drops 6 kilos for this and we are expecting a big run from her today,” said Dance.

I actually declared her a ‘Get On’ on ATB-TV this week so I might be in for some stick if the result doesn’t go our way.”

We have Craig Williams aboard and she’s a great each-way chance at Flemington.”

Lonhspresso will appreciate going around with only 53 kilograms in this event after carrying 59 kilos last time out against her own age in the listed Alinghi Stakes at Caulfield.

Owned by ATB’s Darren & Liz Dance and the Gereaux family from Bungan Street Thoroughbreds, the Lonhro 4yo is already a Group 2 winner, having taken out the Centrebet Classic at Morphettville in March this year.

Lonhspresso will step out in Race 8 at Flemington at 4.30pm and after the Double D declaration yesterday she has come into $7.50 at online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au.
