Edge Of Storm front and centre in classy Stawell victory

Sep 03, 2013

Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock gelding Edge Of Storm scored a very good win today at Stawell.

The son of Racer’s Edge settled nicely in 3rd spot on the fence in the run before jockey Brad Rawiller set him alight before the turn where he ran to the lead and defied all challengers in the run to the line to score a well deserved victory.

“A 10 out of 10 ride by Brad Rawiller,” said ATB’s Darren Dance.

“He has come back in good order and proved too strong for his opposition.”

Edge Of Storm carried 60 kilograms on arguably the worst part of the track and has come through the race in great shape.

He is likely to step up to 2000 metres for his next start and on his current gorm will be hard to beat again, especially if he can get down in the weights.
