Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock busy at the Yearling Sales

Mar 22, 2017

Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock's Darren Dance along with CB Bloodstock's Chris Blomeley have been very busy across four states during recent yearling sales.

No fewer than nine yearlings combined were purchased from the Gold Coast & Tasmanian Magic Millions sales as well as the Sydney Classic & Melbourne Premier Inglis sales.

The first purchase on the Gold Coast in January, an I Am Invincible filly is fully subscribed and heads to Mick Price at Caulfield.

Five of the yearlings head to Cranbourne based trainer, Robbie Griffiths in a partnership that is looking to produce early running two years old.

They all look great types by exciting sires Written Tycoon (main photo), Hinchinbrook, Statue Of Liberty, Star Witness and Sebring.

Archie Alexander will train a Tavistock filly purchased from the Melbourne Premier sale, while Australia's leading trainer Darren Weir will train a full brother to prolific Cup's winning stayer Banca Mo (Tough Speed x I Gotcha Babe).

The final purchase sees leading Queensland trainer, Tony Gollan reunited with a family he knows well, when acquiring a filly by his champion Group One performer, Spirit Of Boom.

When added to the MakfiMastercraftsman 2YO's and Epaulette yearling heading to Michelle Payne, as well as the homebred by Denman from our good staying mare, Flying Hula going to Archie Alexander, ATB have plenty on offer to suit all budgets.
